This is one of many short video segments which will be added to the Digital Tipping Point (DTP) archive. This segment features Seiya Maeda, who manages a company in Japan, called Good-Day, Inc., which provides support for companies using free open source software. While companies in the proprietary world try to externalize as many costs as possible, Good-Day voluntarily takes on costs by contributing localization and documentation for open source software packages such as OpenOffice.org. This series of interviews gives Seiya's view of how it makes sense for his company's bottom line to give back to the free open source software community.
The DTP will be many, many films created by the global open source video community about how open source is changing their lives.
